BAGRAM AIR FIELD, Afghanistan (June 23, 2008) – Afghan National Security Forces and Coalition forces provided medical care and humanitarian aid to Afghan villagers in Tarin Kowt District, Uruzgan province, June 27. ANSF and Coalition forces spoke with village elders after a stop during a reconnaissance patrol. The elders requested medical assistance and humanitarian aid for their community. ANSF and Coalition medical personnel treated approximately 60 people for various ailments and also distributed food and school supplies. |
