BAGRAM AIR FIELD, Afghanistan (July 3, 2008) – Military officials from three countries are meeting this week for a second time as part of a joint investigation into a cross-border engagement and bombings near Gora Praio, Afghanistan, June 10. U.S., Pakistani and Afghan military officials will meet at Bagram Air Field to exchange their independently collected data. The first tripartite meeting was held here June 24. All participants have agreed to embargo details until completion of the tripartite investigation, which is anticipated to be closed later this month. The date and identities of participants are withheld for security reasons. |
