BAGRAM AIR FIELD, Afghanistan (June 5, 2008) – Two Coalition service members were killed in a helicopter crash this afternoon on a routine-maintenance mission near Kandahar.

The cause of the incident is currently under investigation, however there were no reports of hostile activity in relation to the crash.

The names and nationality of the deceased are being withheld pending notification of the next of kin.
